This week in class we had a lot of time to work on our tragedy essays. I really enjoyed the day that we got to have people read our essays. I felt like I got a lot of feedback with what I can change to make my essay flow better. I was placed in a group with Leah, Lauren, Serena, and Alex and they all gave me really good feedback with grammatical errors, flow, and the overall organization of my essay. With their essays I tried to read it like someone that has never been in our class to make sure that their essays made sense and that they had a good explanation for why they did or didn’t agree with an author’s point of view. I think that reading their essays gave me inspiration to change my essay.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree that peer review is very helpful. It helps us to recognize our mistakes. And it is a great opportunity for us to learn from each other. I am glad that I got some good feedbacks as well. Hope your tragic paper and tragic creation are come along well. :)
I agree with Biyun, I have no idea how I would complete any paper if I didn't get feedback. By getting new ideas and thoughts and ways to express your opinion really helps shape your paper.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to get feedback on your essay! I kind of felt the way you did. I wanted to add, delete many things from my essay after reading the essays of my peers. I did add quite a lot to my paper, but I had to realize that I couldn't talk about EVERYTHING I wanted to. As long as you got your main points across, and did it in an effective manner, then I'm sure your essay turned out to be very well written.
